Why is my Samsung Wallet not Responding?

If your Samsung Wallet / Samsung Pay not responding try the following: 


Reset the App

  1. Locate and tap"Settings."
  2. Tap the "Apps". 
  3. Tap the search bar and enter "Wallet."
  4. Tap "Samsung Wallet."
  5. Tap "Storage."
  6. Tap "Clear cache."

This will clear your app's cache and should allow you to use the app. 


Remove and Re-add Your Card

If only one of your cards is not working, try the option below: 


TO REMOVE

  1. Locate and tap the "Samsung Wallet."
  2. Tap the "All" tab.
  3. Tap "Payment cards."
  4. Select the card you want to remove. Then, tap "More Options" indicated by the three vertical dots.
  5. Tap "Delete card." 
  6. Follow the instructions on the screen 

TO ADD

  1. Locate and tap the "Samsung Wallet."
    • Note: If necessary, log into your Samsung Account.
  2. Tap the "All" tab.
  3. Tap "Payment cards."
  4. Tap the "Plus" icon.
  5. Tap "Add payment cards."
  6. Follow the instructions on the screen. 


Reset Samsung Wallet Data

Please be aware that all of your payment cards will be removed.

  1. Locate and tap"Settings."
  2. Tap the "Apps".
  3. Tap the search bar and enter "Wallet."
  4. Tap "Samsung Wallet."
  5. Tap "Storage."
  6. Tap "Clear data."
